This bilingual Privacy Policy applies to users in regions where asktao is officially distributed. If the English and Chinese versions differ, the English version prevails for legal interpretation.

1. Principles / 基本原则

asktao processes personal information only when necessary to provide and protect the service. We follow minimum necessity, purpose limitation, transparency, and security-by-design principles.

asktao 仅在提供和保障服务所需范围内处理个人信息，并遵循最小必要、目的限定、透明告知和安全设计原则。

We may process the following information:

• Guest or Apple-linked user identifier / 游客或 Apple ID 绑定后的用户标识

• Questions, clarification replies, generated responses, divination records, feedback, and history / 问题、追问回答、生成回应、问卦记录、反馈和历史记录
• Talisman catalog, inventory, purchase verification status, and invocation status / 符箓目录、库存、购买验签状态和念符状态
• Device push token and notification preferences when you enable push notifications / 开启推送后产生的设备推送 token 与通知偏好
• Device, app version, network, diagnostic, and crash information needed for reliability and safety / 保障稳定性和安全所需的设备、应用版本、网络、诊断和崩溃信息

We do not collect your contacts, SMS, call history, photo library, microphone recordings, full payment credentials, or biometric payment data.

我们不收集通讯录、短信、通话记录、相册、麦克风录音、完整支付凭证或生物识别支付数据。

3. Location and Weather / 定位与天气

Location and weather are used only when you grant permission and actively request them for the current divination. Weather failure does not block asking a question. You may deny or revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings.

We use information to:

• Send push notifications you enable / 发送你主动开启的推送通知
• Prevent abuse, protect safety, and maintain service reliability / 防止滥用、保障安全和维持服务稳定

5. Third-Party Processing / 第三方处理

To provide the service, selected question context may be sent to model service providers. Weather requests may be sent to weather providers. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple App Store In-App Purchase. Push notifications use Apple Push Notification service.

为提供服务，必要的问卦上下文可能发送给模型服务商；天气请求可能发送给天气服务商；支付与退款由 Apple App Store 应用内购买处理；推送通知使用 Apple Push Notification service。

These providers process information only as needed for the relevant function. asktao does not access or store your full Apple payment credentials.

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, or accounting obligations.

8. Security / 安全

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS transport, Keychain storage for sensitive local credentials, access controls, and sensitive-log restrictions.

No network service can be guaranteed perfectly secure. If a security incident occurs, we will respond according to applicable law.
